• Lebanon Creek Greenway is a 2.3 km trail. It runs from Lakeshore Road up to the Johns Family park.
• Mission Recreation Park on Gordon Drive is one of Kelowna's largest recreation parks, at 44 hectares. It has 13 sports fields, a playground, an off-leash dog area and the H2O Adventure + Fitness Centre. It links to the 16.5 km Mission Creek Greenway.
• Bertram Creek Regional Park on Lakeshore Road has a swimming beach, a pier and picnic areas.

• Canyon Falls Middle School (grades 6 to 8) sits in the hills of Upper Mission on Frost Road. It opened in 2019.
• Okanagan Mission Secondary (grades 9 to 12) is the secondary catchment school for the area.
• Elementary schools depend on your street. Chute Lake Elementary serves part of the area.

Kettle Valley Village Centre on Main Street has a small market, a coffee shop, a pub and local services. For a bigger shop, Mission Park Shopping Centre on Lakeshore Road has an Urban Fare grocery store and more.

Gordon Drive and Lakeshore Road lead north toward downtown Kelowna. To reach the airport or UBC Okanagan, you head north through the city to Highway 97. BC Transit Route 16 Mission serves the area. It runs to the Mission Rec Exchange, where you can connect to other routes.

Yes. Canyon Falls Middle School opened in September 2019. It was the first middle school in the Okanagan Mission area. It sits on Frost Road in the hills of the Upper Mission. It takes grade 6 to 8 students from Chute Lake, Anne McClymont and Dorothea Walker elementary schools.

Is there public transit in Upper Mission?

Yes. BC Transit Route 16 Mission serves the area. It loops from the Mission Rec Exchange up Frost Road, South Crest Drive and Chute Lake Road, then back down. Buses come about every 40 to 50 minutes. At the exchange you can connect to other routes. This route started in January 2026, when it replaced the old Routes 16 and 17.
